MARCH 29, 2026 — I loved working at Jingkids International during my last year in China, and was so happy to contribute a media history perspective to this story.
As someone who is de-tangling her own participation in the family vlogging space and its consequences on kids, I find it useful to pull one thread at a time. Even if your parenting isn’t as extreme as a family influencer, it helps us to know where these new normals came from. That way, we can make active choices that allow our kids to form their own identities.
