Who Are Shiloh & Bros?
[EDITOR’S NOTE: the data within this article was updated 9/9/2025 from its original post-CMJ],
Shiloh Nelson is a child actor with credits in movies like Tomorrowland, Annabelle, Moms’ Night Out, and A Fairy’s Game, among other voice acting credits. Around 2018, she started uploading short sketches with her family to social media, which has now grown into the kind of media company that kids dream about. Shiloh & Bros (including Shiloh, Judah, Elijah, and Micah) produce variations of video games in real life, and have risen to 91 million subscribers, thanks in large part to their consistent family-friendly quality.
Are Shiloh & Bros Really Family-Friendly?
Shiloh & Bros do keep their content family-friendly. Although their repertoire includes games like Among Us (cute space explorers trying to murder each other) and Rainbow Friends (light horror hide and seek Roblox game), the family and friends who participate in each video keep it light, fun, and entertaining.

In the last few years since they became popular YouTubers, brands started to notice and sponsor the siblings. So you will occasionally find an entire video sponsored by Pokemon, complete with approved intellectual property.
Most importantly, they have a lot of fun! And their audience has the same fun along with their crew. Even their competitive videos maintain a light humor and no one pulls mean pranks on each other. Typically, if any player/actor does cheat or betray another, they are caught shortly after and there’s some game-relevant consequence. Even their “kills” in Among Us episodes are often not shown, and cut away before the actual murder. Plus you have to appreciate their talents with onesies.
“Season One” by Shiloh & Bros
Two years ago, they premiered the first episode of “Season One,” where they tie all their games and videos together into an overall narrative.
Shiloh and her four brothers run an agency that travels through video game worlds to save the day. They alone possess this ability to travel the worlds, called raelos, discovered by their mom. However, she has gone missing without a trace. Now, a mysterious sky plague has begun consuming worlds. Can Shiloh and her brothers stop the sky plague, all while figuring out what happened to their mom? It’s an incredibly fun and comedic feel good adventure that highlights the bond of family.
Algorithm Check
- If you’re lucky, watching a few Shiloh & Bros videos will push even more Shiloh & Bros into your life. Their music videos are great, and their song “Red is Sus” can be a catchy singalong tune in the car!
Dialogue: I want to be a YouTuber & Pranks/Challenges
- I want to be a YouTuber when I grow up! One of the main appeals to Shiloh & Bros content is that it feels like normal sibling imaginative play with upgraded costumes. These channels might prompt your child to revive their dream of being a popular YouTuber. When this topic comes up, you can point to all the elements of creating, editing, and posting a video that goes into being a popular YouTuber. Some deeper questions to ask them include:
- Why do you want to be a YouTuber? For the likes and comments? You can explain how dopamine affects their growing brains and point out how they can find that high in person and not online.

- Why are these pranks and challenges funny, but others are not? I always tie this back to empathy. How would you feel if your friend pulled this prank on you? Even the Shiloh crew’s in-game pranks are lighthearted, and everyone has a good time, whether they win or lose. Although sometimes a player might be upset when they lose, the entire group keeps losses in perspective, acting as great role models for when your own children lose a game.
